Abner slept with Saul’s concubine, and Ish-Bosheth rebuked him for it.
In ancient culture, sleeping with the wife (or concubine) of a deceased king implied a claim to his kingdom. Abner’s actions could be seen as his desire to take over the throne, and perhaps that was his intention. This is why Ish-Bosheth was particularly sensitive about the issue.

Q2. What is the meaning of Perez-Uzzah? (v7-8, compare with 5:20)
It signifies God’s outburst against Uzzah. In 5:20, we see God’s outburst toward their enemies; here, it is directed against His own people. Michal. After David’s curse, she remained childless for the rest of her life.

Q2. What was described about Mephibosheth? (two verses in specific)
Both of his feet are crippled (v3, v13)
Another mention of his crippled feet was to anounce collapse of Saul’s house. However, by David’s favor for the sake of Jonathan, the family line continues through the crippled Mephibosheth. Q3. What was David’s favor for Mephibosheth?
He would get all the land of his grandfather Saul.
Eating on David’s table.
Note that David repeats this verdict (v7, v9). Also, this event is not right after David’s enthroning. Because Mephibosheth had a young son, chapter 9 must be 8 years later capturing Jerusalem. Though David made a covenant with Jonathan, he had not remembered or fulfilled until he felt a need.

He had 15 sons and 20 servants.

It is not merely a matter of human relationships. First of all, sin breaks our relationship with God.
Q3. What were God’s punishments? (three, v10-12)

“You man of bloodshed” Why did he accuse David in this manner? Was it because David took the throne from the Benjaminites, the tribe of Saul? Or was it due to his killing of Uriah? Keeping his adultery and murder a secret seemed nearly impossible. Given that David’s sins were well known to the public, God’s reputation must be tarnished when He forgave and spared David’s life.
